Program


Thursday, 31 October from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

An information meeting for all participating students and professors will be held at the Canadian Center for Architecture (CCA), starting at 4:30 p.m. After the short presentation and a question/discussion period, a vin d'honneur will be held in the CCA's Shaughnessy House where the discussions can continue. Participants will also have a chance to view the exhibition in the CCA's galleries.


Friday, 1 November to Sunday, 3 November

Students will work en charrette. Students are asked to contact the professor in charge of the charrette in the school in which they wish to work on their project in order to ascertain which workshops/ateliers are avalible for their use.


Sunday, 3 November at 6 p.m.

End of the charrette. Each school is responsible for arranging transport for the projects to the Galerie du Centre de design de l'UQAM (1440 Sanguinet Street) by 7:30 p.m.


Participation

Teams can be composed of between 2 and 5 students including, if desired, students from other universities or programs. A registration form must be filled out for each team and sent to Allan Penning at the CCA (tel : (514) 939-7000, e-mail : allanp@cca.qc.ca) no later than 5 p.m. on monday, 28 October

For the project, students will submit two horizontal A0 panels. Projects will be presented to a jury and exposed at the Galerie du Centre de design de l'UQAM from 4 November to 10 November. Prizes will be awarded at the vernissage on Monday, 4 November at 7 p.m.
