Open Sessions
Open sessions are available for bookings by classes and for private groups of at least six people from 1 September to 31 May. Please contact public@cca.qc.ca for information or to schedule a visit.
We welcome groups of college and university students to gather around a thematic selection of objects from our collection and from our research projects, as a point of departure for a conversation. Examine and discuss a selection of materials of your choosing in CCA Study Room.
Conversations should be facilitated by the visiting group leader. Submit your preliminary list of objects upon reservation and our team of reference librarians can make complementary suggestions for materials that will challenge students and expand the discussion.
Open Sessions are now open to all groups, without a call for proposals, and can be combined with a guided tour introducing the approaches and projects at the CCA. As the capacity of our Study Room and our resources are limited, we will accept groups on the basis of our availabilities.
We can accommodate up to twenty students per visit. Reservations must be made at least six weeks in advance, and final object list must be submitted a minimum three weeks prior to your visit. To begin the conversation, please contact us at public@cca.qc.ca. Start browsing the CCA Collection here.
You can search for everything here—our exhibitions, events, collection, articles, and bookstore. If you have any questions, please email us at publications@cca.qc.ca.
