Some Ideas on Living in London and Tokyo presents architectural projects by Stephen Taylor and Ryue Nishizawa that reflect new thinking on living in contemporary cities. Taylor and Nishizawa’s residential projects both respect and respond to the particular cultural environments of London and Tokyo, and demonstrate the importance of a clear understanding of place in order to develop solutions that are specific to their context. Their designs challenge conventional norms and offer approaches that simultaneously shape the life of the resident and the face of the city.
