The twenty-first Interuniversity Charrette invites young designers to reconsider Arctic villages, propose interventions in Northern settlements and surroundings, and help create livable communities simply and frugally.
The Charrette is organized by the Canadian Centre for Architecture and McGill University, in collaboration with the Université du Québec à Montréal and the Université de Montréal, and with the participation of Concordia University, Université Laval, Carleton University, Ryerson University, the University of Toronto, the University of Waterloo, and Laurentian University. The Charrette is open to students and recent graduates in architecture, landscape architecture, environmental design, urban design, planning, industrial design and graphic design.
The launch of the Charrette will take place at the CCA on 10 November 2016 at 6pm and will be streamed live.
