Guest curator Sylvia Lavin presents Architecture Itself and Other Postmodernist Myths. This exhibition proposes a counter-reading of postmodern procedures, deflating the myth of the autonomous architect and recovering empirically describable architectural activity. The exhibition brings together an array of building fragments, drawings, models, and primary source documents to present canonical projects from an unexpected and unfamiliar point of view.
The presentation will be followed by a reception and the opening of the exhibition.
Free, fully insured childcare is available for kids three years and up who can use the washroom independently, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Offered in collaboration with The Lion and The Mouse.
