From 2011 to 2014, Canadian artist and author Douglas Coupland wrote 148 Slogans for the 21st Century. For the exhibition It’s All Happening So Fast: A Counter-History of the Modern Canadian Environment (November 2016 – April 2017), the Canadian Centre for Architecture commissioned a special addition to this art work, reflecting contemporary attitudes towards the environment. Shown along the Parc Baile fence are fifty new slogans and ten from Coupland’s previous work.
