Launch of the Interuniversity Charrette

Event, in English, Paul Desmarais Theatre, 14 November, 6:30pm

What can we learn from our laneways? These service spaces of the urban grid are increasingly popular sites for vibrant citizen interventions. Inspired by Montréal’s green lanes and Vancouver and Toronto’s backyard projects, this year’s CCA Interuniversity Charrette challenges you to apply laneway thinking to a shared space(s) in your city.

The Charrette is organized by the CCA and McGill University, in collaboration with the the Université de Montréal and the Université du Québec à Montréal, and with the participation of Concordia University, Université Laval, Carleton University, Ryerson University, the University of Toronto, the University of Waterloo, and Laurentian University.

The Charrette is open to students and recent graduates in architecture, landscape architecture, environmental design, urban design, planning, industrial design, and graphic design.

For more information, visit the Charrette webpage.
