A conversation about politics, economics, and architecture

CCA elsewhere, in English and Spanish, Lerma, Buenos Aires, 12 March 2020, 7pm

During the post-crisis period in Argentina (2003 to 2008), the practice of architecture became a financial instrument, precluding an opportunity for it to become something else—anything else—during a time when everything seemed to be possible. The discipline evaded the social contingencies of recovery and functioned within its own selfish logics, asking: how can I keep designing buildings?

Martin Huberman introduces the first chapter of the CCA c/o Buenos Aires program. Huberman will be joined by Pablo Touzón (political analyst) and Alejandro Bercovich (economic journalist) for a public conversation.

The event will be in English and Spanish.
