Join Rafico Ruiz, the CCA’s Associate Director of Research, in conversation with James Graham, Maren Koehler, and Marina Oba for a discussion on their research projects as part of the CCA’s inaugural Virtual Fellowship Program. They will share work in progress on dams and extraction, on the rise, fall, and corporate architecture of the forestry industry in Canada, and on how Indigenous building typologies in Brazil can be both image-driven and community-based.
Over a six-week period this fall, each Virtual Fellow sought to activate the CCA Collection from a distance. They worked in close collaboration with our Reference staff to refine and curate a selection of Collection materials related to an array of modes of elemental design.
