Francesco Garutti, our Curator of Contemporary Architecture, participates in a series of conferences organized by the City of Reggio Emilia, Italy, that aim to re-examine the cultural legacy of artist and writer Luigi Ghirri on the thirtieth anniversary of his death. The panel, curated by historian of photography Francesco Zanot, explores the role of archives as an expanded territory of resources in order to better understand the production of Ghirri.
With Armin Linke (artist, Berlin), Linda Fregni Nagler (artist, Milan), Marco Belpoliti (writer, Milan), and Luce Lebart (historian of photography and Curator at the Archive of Modern Conflicts, London).
This event is free and open to the public. To register, click here. The talk will also be streamed live on Reggio Emilia’s YouTube and Facebook accounts.
