Out of the Box: Gordon Matta-Clark Tour

In this conversation, Artist Hans Schabus and CCA Curator Contemporary Architecture Francesco Garutti will elaborate on the new installment of the exhibition Out of the Box: Gordon Matta-Clark at the Generali Foundation in Salzburg. Conceived of as a conversation between two institutions—in which two collections are placed in dialogue—the exhibition in Salzburg juxtaposes the Gordon Matta-Clark Collection of the CCA, selected by Yann Chateigné, Hila Peleg, and Kitty Scott, with that of the Generali, selected by Hans Schabus. Schabus and Garutti will re-explore the two collections on display, examining the relationships, connections, and kinships to be found among the fragments of the body of work of one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century.
