The Grantham Foundation organizes a talk by Philippe Madec based on his most recent book, Mieux avec moins : architecture et frugalité pour la paix, which is at the crossroads of environmental concerns, politics, and possible solutions for a better future.
The event will take the form of a discussion moderated by Josianne Poirier (artistic director of the Grantham Foundation), with Georges Adamcyzk (architect and professor at the École d’architecture de l’Université de Montréal), Albert Ferré (CCA’s associate director of publications), and Philippe Madec.
Philippe Madec is a French architect and urbanist. He works at all scales of human settlement, from large territories to buildings, from metropolises to villages, in France and abroad.
The event is a collaboration between the Grantham Foundation, the CCA, and the French Consulate General in Québec.
Free entrance.
