To celebrate the holiday season, on Friday 27 December the CCA invites you to join us for guided tours of our exhibitions, and a writing activity inspired by Being There: Photography in Arthur Erickson’s Early Travel Journals, all while enjoying hot chocolate.
Children, families, and adults are welcome. All activities are free, no reservations required and it’s possible to join in at any time during the activities.
Guided tours:
1:30pm–2:15pm: in French
2:30pm–4pm: in English
Workshop: Being there, experiencing and describing architecture
2pm–4pm: bilingual workshop
This workshop, led by the CCA public team, invites kids and adults to represent, draw, and write their impressions and feelings about the architecture that surrounds them on postcards that can be brought home, shared with other visitors, or sent to their loved ones. This activity is inspired by Arthur Erickson’s methodology and the history of the Shaughnessy House, the historic building at the heart of the CCA.
We invite you to discover our other exhibitions: To Build Law and Reading Landscapes.
