Physical characteristics and technical requirements:

- The print was originally covered with a vellum sheet inscribed with editor's marks [media for editor's marks varies]. The sheet has been removed for conservation reasons and is stored with the print. Slides of the recto and verso of the object were taken prior to the removal of the vellum covering and are kept in the Conservation Department's files.

Inscription:

numbered - by an unknown hand, in graphite, on the print, verso, u.c.: "7" stamped and numbered - in blue ink, on the print, verso, l.l.: "If this Photograph is used / for reproduction, kindly use / the following credit line: / HEDRICH-BLESSING / HEDRICH-BLESSING / CHICAGO / NEG.
