inscribed and labelled - in photographer's hand, black ink, on label adhered to back of housing, verso, u.c.; "Vue de temple de Thesée et d'une/partie de la ville d'athénes /à l'horizon le mont Senthelique (?)/qui a forméle marbre awec lequel/le parthenon a éte construit/Athénes mai 1850" labelled and signed - in photographer's hand, in black ink, adhered to back of housing, verso, l.r.; "Brn Gros."
