- An inscription at the bottom of the sheet indicates that the plans for the corner units of Tusschendijken Housing Estate, Rotterdam, were revised, apparently because the streets were not identical in length and the street intersections not always at right angles. The inscription refers to the red pencil revisions by an unknown hand over the ground plan at lower left.

inscribed and numbered - by the draughtsman ? on the original, u.l.: with title and "WONINGTIJPE D. / PLATTEGRONDEN BALKLAGEN EN DOORSNEDEN / TUSSCHENDIJKEN BLOK III EN IV"; u.r.: "GEMEENTELIJKE WONINGDIENST ROTTERDAM / BESTEK NO 11 / IN 4 BLADEN [three horizontal dashes] BLAD NO 2."; and throughout: with dimensions, room functions, and plan and section orientations inscribed and dated - by an unknown hand, in graphite, u.l.: "1920-21"; and l.l. to b.: "All houses of these / 8 Blocks of ,,Tusschendijken'' / are standardized. [underlined] / Being not all angles right and / not all streets of the same length, / it was necessary to find at / the corner a part that only to / had be changed. It is the / part - here red - lined. For the / other parts of the corner - / houses are still the / same executive - drawings / used: only for the red-lined part the / drawing had always / to be changed / concerning the / measurements / and the kind / of angle."
