- Contemporary binding consists of embossed, brown leather-covered boards and spine, with gold gilt decorative patterns. Endleaves are of white textured paper. The album contains 35 photographs, each of which is individually mounted on light whitish brown paper. Navy blue strips of tape bind the pages to the cover. There is one blank page, six pages from the front.

inscribed and dated - by an unknown hand, in pen and black ink, on the front flyleaf, verso, u.c. to u.r.: "To / W.B.
