Physical characteristics and technical requirements:

- Contemporary binding consists of red leather-covered corners and spine, red cloth-covered boards with gilt trim and numbering, and white binding tape. The front and back pastedowns are of light grey silk moiré; the first flyleaf is of light grey silk moiré on the recto and light yellowish brown wove paper on the verso; a second flyleaf is of light yellowish brown wove paper; the following 50 pages are of yellowish white cardboard with photographs mounted on the recto and verso of pages 1 through 41, all inscribed except page 41 on which photographs PH1984:1203:081-086 are mounted on the recto and verso but which is uninscribed; pages 42 through 50 are unused and uninscribed. The penultimate flyleaf is of yellowish brown wove paper; the last flyleaf is of yellowish brown wove paper on the recto and light grey silk moiré on the verso. There are 13 imprinted labels and a printed sheet inserted in the album but not attached.

stamped and imprinted - impressed and imprinted, in gilt, on the spine, b.: "20" inscribed - by an unknown hand, in graphite, on the first flyleaf, verso, u.r..: "Doa[n]e" labelled, imprinted and numbered - in typescript and black ink, on paper labels associated with photographs PH1984:1203:001, PH1984:1203:006, PH1984:1203:007, PH1984:1203:008, PH1984:1203:009, PH1984:1203:010, PH1984:1203:011, PH1984:1203:012, PH1984:1203:013, PH1984:1203:014, PH1984:1203:039, PH1984:1203:043, PH1984:1203:048: with titles and descriptions of the structures depicted in the associated photographs. labelled, imprinted and dated; - in typescript and black ink, on a detached sheet: a weekly church calendar from First Presbyterian Church, Oak Park, Illinois, dated "September 9, 1906" with listings of the upcoming week's events at the church and other church matters, and a photomechanical print depicting the church
