Scope and content:
This project series documents the Casa Tabanelli, a built one-storey private residence in Stintino, Italy. Riva worked on this project in 1974. The project is recorded through studies and includes a perspective sketch, as well as design development drawings, including interior and exterior elevations, sections, site plans, and details, such as furnishing details.

Arrangement:
Most of the materials in this project series have been kept in their original order. Only the file AP180.S1.1972.PR01.002 arranged under this project series has drawings that were rearranged by the archivist during processing. Drawings from two other related projects were previously found in the mentioned file: Case Di Palma, Stintino, Italy (see project series AP180.S1.1971.PR01 in this fonds) and Casa Zazzu, Stintino, Italy (see project series AP180.S1.1971.PR02 in this fonds). These drawings were taken out of the file to be rearranged under the appropriate project series.

A selection of drawings in this project series were shown in the exhibition "Rooms You May Have Missed: Bijoy Jain, Umberto Riva (2014)" at the Canadian Centre for Architecture.

All three projects were built on neighbouring lands and had similar designs.
