Physical characteristics and technical requirements:

- This drawing was probably formerly laid down on a secondary support as were many of the drawings of the group DR1981:0017:001 R/V - DR1981:0017:079 R/V. The sheet has been trimmed at the t., b. and r. edges. There is a horizontal fold at c., and two vertical folds at c. and r. Holes in vertical fold at c. indicate that the sheet was probably sewn into a book. A faint chalk sketch of a right-angle triangle figures at the l.c., verso.

Inscription:

inscribed, dated and signed - by the draughtsman, in pen and brown ink, l.c.: "fatte in occasione della Porta / della fortezza Urbana a Castel / franco, 1629"; and l.l.: "Danese"
