- Although this drawing could be a record of an existing structure, it is likely a design by Danese for an altarpiece. His authorship is suggested by the date of 1637 in the altarpiece inscription, and by its similarity to the designs, DR1981:0017:044 V and DR1981:0017:042 V.

- This drawing is laid down on a secondary support which was formerly bound into an album as indicated by the letter indicating pagination, and the discolouration at the l.l. corner where the page was turned. There are traces of old glue throughout the secondary support, where another sheet was formerly laid down.

inscribed - by the draughtsman, in pen and grey-black ink, b.: "Travi alla Ferrarese detti Chavi overo Travi armati per le sale et altre stanze" inscribed - on the secondary support, by a contemporary hand, in pen and brown ink, l.r.: "P."
