Physical characteristics and technical requirements:

- This drawing is laid down on a secondary support which was formerly bound into an album as indicated by the the letter and number indicating pagination, and the discolouration at the l.r. corner where the page was turned. There are traces of glue throughout the verso of the secondary support, where a drawing was formerly laid down.

Inscription:

inscribed and dated - by the draughtsman, probably touched up by a contemporary hand, in pen and brown ink, c.r.: "Disegno fatto d'ordine dell'Ecc.m[o]...[sheet trimmed] / [G]nate Bagni per fare una spinosa...[sheet trimmed] / al forte delle bochette 1639."; and l.c.: "Torre di Prima.ro" inscribed and numbered - on the secondary support, by a contemporary hand, in pen and brown ink, l.r.: "1[5]"; u.l.: "K"; and verso, l.r.: "[P]"
