Physical characteristics and technical requirements:

- Contemporary binding consists of green leather-covered boards and spine. There are gold gilt inscriptions and accents on the cover and spine. Endleaves are of silk moiré. Pages are of light brownish white cardboard with gold gilt edging. Thin red lines frame the 23 photographs.

Inscription:

stamped and imprinted - in typescript and embossed gold gilt, on the front cover, c.: "ALBERT MEMORIAL."; on the spine, u.c.: "ALBERT MEMORIAL" inscribed and numbered - by an unknown hand, in graphite, on the pastedown of the endleaf, u.l.: "E.R.G. / 1553 / NA9355 / .l8 / 42"; u.c.: "Case 1, shelf 3 / Furbished 2/6" inscribed and numbered - by an unknown hand, in graphite, on the flyleaf, verso, u.r.: "15/ [crossed out] EA1 Albert / 6/- / Furbished 2/6"
