- Contemporary binding consists of brown cloth-covered boards and brown leather spine. The cover has a white and brown labelled and embossed inscription and the spine has an embossed "H" on the l.c. Endleaves are of brown paper. Pages are of white construction paper. The book is comprised of a title page, list of plates, which includes titles and dates of photographs, and 21 photographs. The photographs show various buildings in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island as well as the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges.
