This work is composed of two different issues. The printed title page, the first dedication and preface, signed by Danckert Danckertsz, and p. 219-[354] (Book 3)--including the woodcut plates, are the same type-setting on the same watermarked paper as the [1658] edition. The second dedication of Cornelis Danckerz from the 1640 edition is a new typesetting; the second preface of Danckert Danckertsz is a different text from the second preface found in the [1658] edition; p. 1-116 are a new printing with corrections in spelling and minor changes in the text. These three parts, with the four series of plates, A-D, are all printed on the same watermarked paper. Therefore, it is probable that this work was issued in 1661, using parts of the earlier edition of [1658] which in turn had incorporated parts of the earlier 1640 edition.
