Summary:

Kersten Geers and David Van Severen discuss the immersive perspectives they made for their centres for traditional music in Muharraq, Bahrain, and for Go Hasegawa's Pilotis in a Forest in Gunma, Japan. These perspectives were made expressly for the CCA exhibition Besides, history : Go Hasegawa, Kersten Geers, David Van Severen. In this exhibition, Go Hasegawa, Kersten Geers, and David Van Severen reread, redraw, translate, and appropriate from the past and from each other in order to construct relationships and meaning out of a constellation of historical references. History becomes something that can be used rather than just studied.
