Join us in a conversation about computational creativity, video games, and the challenges of digital archiving. Carl Therrien, Assistant Professor in Video Game Studies at the Université de Montréal, talks about the Ludiciné research project, which is dedicated to archiving full motion video (FMV) games. Afterwards Jonathan Lessard, Assistant Professor of Design and Computation Arts at Concordia University, discusses the digital subculture surrounding the production of demos, also known as the demoscene. Moderated by Skot Deeming, doctoral student at the TAG Research Centre.
