Summary:

This book presents 40 years of a career through a selection of 27 designs and interior architecture for theater and opera in Chile. The freedom with which López Cauly (b. Chile) tackles various projects has generated a body of diverse and original buildings and sets that are characterized by the careful use of light and manipulation of the boundaries, both physical and conceptual, of the stage space. López Cauly was trained as an architect which is reflected in his constructed spaces.
