Dans la continuité de ses missions photographiques et soucieux de contribuer à la sauvegarde du patrimoine par le moyen de la photographie, le Centre national de l'audiovisuel (CNA) a mandaté en 2018 le photographe Christian Aschman pour dresser un inventaire visuel intra- et extra-muros de la zone industrielle dite Agrocenter. Basé à Mersch, au centre du Luxembourg, ce lieu dédié à la production agroalimentaire depuis 1959 est aujourd'hui en voie de disparition pour laisser la place à un nouveau quartier résidentiel et commercial.0Après un an sur le site, Christian Aschman dévoile ici l'architecture, les fonctionnalités et les singularités des édifices construits entre 1959 et 1998, capte les atmosphères dégagées par cet univers à huis clos et inaccessible au public pendant des décennies et cerne le terrain et le paysage dans lesquels il s'inscrit.0Marguy Conzémius, commissaire d'exposition et en charge des commandes photographiques au CNA, décrit les démarches photographiques appliquées par le photographe pour relever le défi de la mission qu'elle lui a proposé.0Antoinette Lorang, historienne de l'art, expose des références et exemples surprenants ayant pu influencer les architectes et le maître d'ouvrage des différentes fabriques. Elle s'arrête plus spécifiquement sur l'implication de l'architecte luxembourgeois Arthur Thill dans la première phase de construction du site.
