Volumes in the Sensitinéraires collection offer the visually impaired a sensitive discovery of national monuments using tactile and auditory media. To allow a greater autonomy of reading, each volume is composed of about thirty relief images - designed by Christian Bessigneul, engraver and specialist in audio-tactile arrangements, and pressed by Laurent Nogues, embosser and master of art - and accompanying booklets describing this same iconography; one in color, and one with black and white contrasting drawings. An audio CD presents the history of the monument and delivers a detailed description, accompanied by comments guiding the tactile reading of the images.
