The first 30 plates are mostly in color and reproduce projects for temporary structures and street decorations by various artists and architects and sponsored by various institutions. Anniversaries of the October Revolution and May Day are the occasions most frequently celebrated. The last 18 plates are black and white, and reproduce photographs of some of the projects as realized.
