"Using the city of Montréal as a site of investigation, the students were asked to examine a particular place in the city as it relates to a topic of their choosing...the seven sites of investigation includes [sic]; a dilapidated passageway at the Sherbrooke Metro Station called Place du Cercle; Mont Royal; an empty lot at the corner of Jeanne-Mannce [i.e. Mance] and Maissoneuve [i.e. Maisonneuve] in downtown Montréal; the meeting place of 'tam tams' at Parc Mont Royal; Habitat 67; the Wellington pivot bridge at the Lachine Canal; and its corresponding surveillance tower".
