Animal ill. consist of 39 signed etchings and 16 woodcuts by Boillot, an etched port., woodcut head and tail pieces, initials and a concluding engraving of a beturbaned head (Robert-Dumesnil 62). Two head pieces used display device of Boillot, and one, a medallion used by the printer himself in other works, here however with the initials I B added.
Signatures: maltese cross¡A-H¡I€ (A3 signed A4, C5 signed C3).
Introductory text includes 3 poetic contributions addressed to Boillot.
