Collection of documents related to a seminar conducted by R. Buckminster Fuller at the McGill University School of Architecture in Sept. of 1956. The seminar was organized through the efforts of the Architectural Undergraduate Society. Students participating in the seminar constructed a geodesic dome at the Montreal Building Trades Training Centre. Documents include the upper portion of a form on letterhead of the Architectural Undergraduate Society, a proposal (7 leaves), a report compiled by J. Hirayama, J. Miller and C.H. Rubenstein, 2 sheets with handwritten notes, 1 newspaper clipping and a b&w photograph thereof, 1 col. photo, a Mar. 1957 issue of The Canadian architect, 3 clippings from periodicals, and 1 page proof. The documents were received in an envelope with a label bearing the McGill University logo and, in typescript "R. Buckminster Fuller -- Project".
