Summary:

This publication records the project which was comprised of public events and a large exhibition held at the Reykjavik Art Museum (2008) and at the Serpentine Gallery in London (2007).
This was two-fold project that expanded the idea of experimentation and display. There was a public event and a large-scale exhibition, which brought together leading international artists, writers and scientists. The "Marathon" was a series of over 70 experiments which explored the ideas of time, space and reality, all performed in front of a public audience. Many of the artists that took part in the experiments also exhibited in the three-month long exhibition
