Memoirs of a Polish Jew, born in Warsaw in 1913. He married at the beginning of the Second World War and his daughter was born in 1942 in the Warsaw ghetto. His wife died in the ghetto; his daughter was saved by his wife's sister, who lived outside the ghetto. Przygoda lived all this time on the "Aryan side" on false papers, and later worked for a German factory in Radom. After being arrested for working in conspiracy with the Home Army, he was sent to Germany for forced labor. Toward the end of the war he was evacuated to Dachau, where he was liberated. In 1947 he emigrated to Palestine, and in 1952 to Canada. (From the Bibliography of the Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Antisemitism).
