Gilles Gagnon (1922-) was born in Outremont, Québec. B.Ing. (civil) 1946. B.Arch. 1949, McGill University. Studied city planning, Université de Lund, Sweden, 1951. Private practice (engineering, architecture, city planning) 1951-1964. Architect responsible for the master plan for Expo 67, 1964-1968. Project manager for Mirabel Airport and the Olympic Games of 1976, 1968-1979. Professor of international management, Département des sciences administratives, Université du Québec, Montréal, 1979-1988.
