Frederick Romberg (1913-1992) is best known in Australia as the middle term in the architectural partnership of Grounds, Romberg and Boyd which was formed in Melbourne in 1953. During the 1950s the pratice was in the vanguard of architectural innovation in this country as this important tribute recognises.
