Summary:

Recordings of a public conference organised by the Institut de recherche en histoire de l'architecture (IRHA) and presented at the Canadian Centre for Architecture on Oct. 9, 1999. The event began with opening remarks by Nicholas Olsberg and Irena Latek. Ricardo Castro introduced the 5 speakers who gave papers during the morning session. Georges Adamczyk introduced the participants in the afternoon session, which consisted of presentations by 4 speakers followed by a round table discussion and questions from the audience. The conference ended with closing remarks from Irena Latek and Phyllis Lambert.
