Recordings of a public lecture given by Michel Lesage that took place Mar. 18, 1999 at the Canadian Centre for Architecture, Montréal. Lesage, Vice-president for Development, Port de Montréal, discusses the transformation of the working port and the myriad considerations entailed by such a vast project. This lecture is one of six in the Metamorphoses series organized by the CCA and Heritage Montreal focusing on the transformation of industrial areas of the city and held in conjunction with the exhibition "Photography and Transformations of the Contemporary City: Venezia - Marghera"/"La photographie et les transformations de la ville contemporaine: Venise - Marghera" on view at the CCA Dec. 9, 1998-Apr. 25, 1999.
