Summary:

The present major retrospective pays tribute to the life and architectural and academic contributions of architect Arturo Robledo Ocampo (b. Manizales, 1930 - d. Bogotá, 2007), one of the most important architects involved in the urban development of Bogotá during the 20th century. Robledo Ocampo, an alumni of the Universidad Nacional where he was later vice Dean and Dean of Arts among other academic positions, was always by formation a social compromised architect and designer who was the author of multiple residential projects, urban designs and an active supporter of the reforestation processes all over the city. Some projects mentioned in the book include the multifamily housing project Nueva Santa Fe, apartments of Calle 26, the building of the Banco Central Hipotecario, residential complex Calle del Sol, residential park Calle 100, design and forestation of Parque Metropolitano Simón Bolívar, to mention a few. A last section includes a map with the location of Robledo's most important architectonic and urbanistic work in Bogotá.
