Summary:

Recordings of the lecture, "Ground zero of architecture", which brought together architectural theorists Mark Wigley and Frédéric Migayrou to discuss the state of architecture in the aftermath of September 11, 2001, held at the Canadian Centre for Architecture, Montréal, Apr. 18, 2002. Presented as the first of three discussions in a series entitled "L'architecture, un langage commun / Architecture : a common language", organized to mark the opening of the exhibition part of the Laboratoires/Laboratories project, "Laboratoires : six agences de jeunes architectes dans les salles du CCA = Laboratories : six young architectural firms in the CCA galleries", on view at the CCA, Apr. 18-Sept. 15, 2002. Includes introductory remarks by Nancy Dunton and Nicholas Olsberg, and closing comments by Phyllis Lambert.
