Brothers Francisco and Jose Nassar Hissa initiated their professional career in the early 1970's. At the same time the capital city of Ceará was experiencing a rapid urban growth and the emergence of new larger centers. One of the projects born of the desk of the Nasser Hissa architectural firm was the first shopping mall of the city, the Center Um (1973) soon became a landmark and a symbol and engine of the zone's real estate fast development. For over 40 years the firm has contributed substantially in the transformation of the built environment of Fortaleza. The present catalogue documents the architectural and urban contributions of the Nassar Hissa brothers.
