Summary:

Although the majority of this book makes references to New Orleans after Katrina. It also addresses similar problems elsewhere on the Gulf Coast, lessons from Sri Lanka after the tsunami, and previous disasters such as the 1927 flood. It also points out these solutions could also be used to fight inner city decay. It is an idea book for urban rebirth.
