Summary:

Beulah Louise Overell and George Gollum were drawn to one another in a forbidden, sadistic passion that drove them to kill their mother and father. In one of the longest US criminal trials in history, the father of renowned photographer Lewis Baltz was called as a key witness. In the first of this two-book set, Blatz recalls the labyrinth of parricide, exploring it through collages of text and image. In the other book, Perkovic traces the sensual relationship between man and woman. What is permitted and what is not? How are strategies of seduction transformed into tales of authoritarian power? Stills from video tapes are combined with texts to produce an enigmatic narrative of impossible encounters with lover and father.
