Videorecording of the inauguration of the 12th ed. of the CCA's annual inter-university Charrette, "4e vie du Bassin Peel". The history of the Peel basin and the Lachine Canal are discussed and Jacques Coté, president of the Société du Havre de Montréal, talks about redevelopment plans for the Montréal waterfront. The Charrette was organized in conjunction with Université de Montréal, Université Laval, Université du Québec à Montréal, Concordia, McGill, and Ryerson University. Recorded on Oct. 26, 2012 at the Canadian Centre for Architecture, Montréal. Includes introductory remarks by Phyllis Lambert.
