Imprint on each plate reads: "A Paris chés Demarteau Graveur ... rue de la Pelterie a la Cloche". In each case the words "du Roi", following the word "Graveur" have been erased.
Each plate numbered in lower right-hand corner, respectively, "No. 441", "No. 442", "No. 443" and "No. 444". This numbering was used in a catalogue of the works of Gilles Demarteau and of his nephew, Gilles-Antoine Demarteau, published by the latter in 1788
Each plate signed: "Percenet del." and "Demarteau direxit".
