[196] p. : 1 ill. (woodcut) ; 29 cm. (fol.)

Notes:
First edition.
Incipit title preceded by four preliminary leaves which contain the address to the reader, index, and dedication by the editor, Giovanni Antonio Sulpicio of Veroli (Joannes Sulpitius Verulanus).
Undated. Evidently printed after the accession of Pope Innocent VIII on Aug. 29, 1484, since Sulpicio's dedication includes a list of events under Innocent VIII's reign. Probably printed after Aug. 11, 1486, when a treaty between the Pope and the King of Naples was ratified, because Sulpicio credits Innocent with the conclusion of a war. Printed no later than Aug. 16, 1487, the acquisition date inscribed on a copy bought in Rome by the Archdeacon of Richmond, John Shirwood.
