Designed by Charles Eames, The Little Toy is described as "A toy sized version of The Toy which, in color and scale, makes bright architecture for a child's world of toys". The larger version included coloured heavy paper square and triangular panels, dowels, and pipe cleaners for connecting. It was designed for all members of the family and could be assembled into an infinite variety of large structures such as houses, towers, tents, pyramids, pavilions. The Little Toy, comprising bright squares and triangles of Tekwood, square and triangular metal frames, and covered wire connectors, offers the same possibilities on a smaller scale.
