The present book comprises interviews and critical texts of Ignacio Vicens y Hualde, one of the most prestigious architects and academics of the School of Architecture of CEU of Madrid. Vicens y Hualde is a well-educated intellectual with a doctoral degree in architecture who condemns the lack of an academic classic teaching substituted by new technologies "The habit of reading, for example, which is normal in many of my generation, has literally disappeared in the schools of architecture. The students neither read nor know how to read. Maybe, at most, browse magazines. And that's rather dramatic...The computer has relegated hand drawing, evidently has changed many things. But I think it's much more negative the loss of the sense of reading... to be architect you don't need to draw excellent, but you need to be cult." (Our translation) --pp. 12-13.
